Stuck behind the Windows

I walked into university for the first time, and I felt as if I was coming from the past. All we had back home were Windows computers. I didn’t even know Apple existed.

When the professor asked, “Who doesn’t know how to use Photoshop?” I was the only one to raise my hand. I felt so ashamed.

The other students were already good with the programs, and there I was, clueless. I didn’t even have a computer then—I had to work in the university lab. I was desperate, doubting if this was my place. But I did something transforming—I gave my best! I sat there and learned what the others already knew.

Within a week, I became one of the best in those programs—especially After Effects. By the end of the week, I was helping others with the advanced stuff. That moment taught me to never be worried that I suck as a beginner! Of course I do—I never tried it before, but give me a week 😉.
